In what is one of the biggest “You Idiot” moves since the Ocean Marketing debacle or Charles Carreon’s attempts to wheedle money out of Matt Inman, the new management at Weird Tales is under heavy fire after publishing a story that’s generally considered pretty darn racist.
Lots of people have already written about this, so I’ll just direct you to Jeff Vandermeer’s take on the whole thing. His wife was the editor at WT before the editorial shakeup, and was responsible for getting the mag it’s first Hugo.
